Jul 13, 2018 Excel for Mac (16.14.1) is very slow with text wrap. While scrolling through the spreadsheet, or selecting different cells, the spinning wheel appears. It takes several seconds to scroll from cell to cell. During this time lag, I noticed in Activity Monitor that CPU usage for Excel goes up to 100%. This problem occurs on all of our Macs in the office. In Microsoft Excel, if you manually modify the height of a row and then format a cell in that row to wrap text, Excel does not change the height of the row to fit all the text in the cell.

Select the cell A1, and press key F2. Press keys ALT + Enter and then again Press Enter key.
